Brian Mendler

Brian Mendler is a special education teacher with extensive experience in classroom management and with challenging students.

He currently works as an adjunct professor where he teaches behavior and classroom management at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY.

Brian contributed to our most recent book titled Just In Time written by Dr. Allen Mendler, co-author of numerous publications including Discipline with Dignity. 

Drs. Curwin and Mendler, along with Brian, just finished a new book that will be out in August of 2007,  Published by Corwin Press.

He has been a Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Special Olympics volunteer for the past five years.

Brian provides staff development opportunities on the topics of discipline, behavior, and classroom management in the form of practical strategies to fellow educators who face the daily challenge of successfully handling disruptive, unmotivated youth.  He  is committed to teaching so that he can directly influence his students.
